RED RIBBON
SKIRT SOCIETY
MISSING AND MURDERED INDIGENOUS WOMEN, CHILDREN AND TWO-SPIRIT
The Red Ribbon Skirt Society is a society founded and led by Indigenous Women. We promote education and awarness around the epidemic of Missing and Murdered Women, Children and Two-Spirit individuals. As a society we advocate, support, give voice to and stand with the families whose lives have been affected by a MMIW.
We financially help with and attend funerals, tradional, memorials and search and rescue efforts. "Bring Her Home", we have helped families bring their MMIW home, when they were unable to cover expenses. Whether it was to bring her home safely or sadly deceased. We are "Un Kusi Pa Tan Pi", " Give Support To Hold Up".
